What We Do

Hello, my name is Donna Linkous and I would like to take a moment to tell you a little about myself and the purpose of Kidz w/Karacter.

I have lived in Lawrenceburg for the majority of my life and am a graduate of Lawrenceburg High School. I currently reside at 74 Tebbs Ave in Greendale where I have lived for the past 20 years.

Kidz w/Karacter opened in August of 1992 under the name of Donna's Family Childcare. I was a single mother of two young girls and I realized I was missing so much of seeing them grow up because of my hectic schedule as a Fast Food District manager.

I decided I had to make a change so I could spend more time with my girls and the  resulting succesful business has amply provided for me and my family since I opened.

I currently operate a State Licensed home based daycare and pre-school at my residence.

In 2005 I met and married my husband Greg, and, through circumstance, we found we worked well together on a professional level as well as a personal one, and we decided to combine our talents so we could expand our business out of the home into a free standing facility.

In 2005 I completed my CDA (Child Development Associate) degree. I am currently working to complete my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.
